Largest magazine launch in the history of Blue Ocean: Europe-wide starting with 700 000 copies in 13 different languages.
Luke Skywalker, Yoda, Darth Vader - have been the heroes for generations. Since 1977, the space saga STAR WARS has found fans around the world old and new with its movies and TV series.
Since 1999 the Danish LEGO Group has been dedicated to the Galactic adventures, to the eternal duel between the evil Dark and the Light Side, a great world with numerous figures and Playsets. Now Blue Ocean Entertainment AG are entering an unknown dimension – in the magazine rack with the Lucasfilm heroes in the minifigures! Saturday, July 4th is the first official LEGO ® STAR WARS ™ magazine available in the shops. Editor in Chief is Simon Peter. Art Director is Martin Pulfer, long-time CEO of graphics of the youth magazine BRAVO.
In the German-speaking world, the Publisher brings 160 000 copies of the new magazine on the shelves. Twelve versions of the magazine in other languages with partner publishers across Europe, including editions in English, French, Polish, Dutch, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian - and of course also in Danish appear following the July launch. Thus the total circulation of the LEGO ® STAR WARS ™ magazine is 700 000 copies - the largest magazine launch in the history of Blue Ocean Entertainment AG. The Stuttgart-based company has worked since 2013 as European master Publisher with the LEGO Group. LEGO ® STAR WARS ™ is the fourth monthly magazine, which has since emerged from this cooperation. Already also Europe magazine to the well-known game worlds of LEGO are commercially available ™, LEGO ® ® NINJAGO legends of CHIMA ™ and LEGO ® FRIENDS. To bi-monthly comics come to the LEGO NINJAGO ™ and the LEGO CHIMA ™ world.
Experience in the new bundled LEGO ® STAR WARS ™ magazine, targeted at readers between six and twelve years, are two exclusive, never-before-published comics that take you up close with the adventure of our space stars. So, the iconic film adventure we know that centres around Luke, Leia, R2-D2, and Darth Vader will be recounted in a funny way in the first graphic novel. In the second graphic novel the adventure of the Star Wars ™ Rebels Ezra, Kanan and Zeb revolves around. In addition, each issue of the magazine provides intergalactic puzzle around the LEGO STAR WARS ™ universe and a cool poster. In the "Imperial secret files", the reader can learn interesting facts and information about their heroes.
Each issue is also refined through an exclusive LEGO ® STAR WARS ™ mini model. With Issue #1 comes an original X-wing fighter.
