Use of the LEGO® trademark in connection with fan group names, fan event names and official LEGO Group sponsorship of fan events.[/align]
Fan club name: It is not allowed to include the LEGO® trademark in a fan club name. Any website operated by the fan club is not allowed to include the LEGO trademark in the domain name.
Fan event name: Generally speaking it is not allowed to include the LEGO trademark in a fan event name, nor in the domain name of a fan event web site, unless
1) the LEGO Group organizes the event with LEGO fan participation (e.g. LEGO® World)
2) the LEGO Group is an active participant in the event on a contractual basis (e.g. LEGO® Fan Welt)
Sponsorship: If the LEGO Group is an official sponsor of a fan event (e.g. Brickworld (tagline): sponsored by the LEGO Group), the LEGO name cannot be used in name of the event or the event domain name. However, the term “sponsored by the LEGO Group” can be used on materials which promote the event. The LEGO logo can be used on materials promoting the event provided that it is clearly stated that the LEGO Group is a sponsor of the event.
If the LEGO Group is not officially involved in the organization of the fan event (see 1, 2 and 3 above), the LEGO logo can never be used and the LEGO wordmark can only be used in a descriptive manner (e.g. Brickfair (tagline): a LEGO® Fan Event)
Approvals/Inquiries: All inquiries from LEGO User Groups/LEGO fans concerning the above must be forwarded to LEGO Community Development represented by Jan Beyer or Steven Witt,. Other LEGO employees, or dealers of LEGO products, are not authorized to deal with these inquiries, nor grant permissions to any use of LEGO trademarks.
Estas guidelines serão também comunicadas nos próximos tempos às diversas representações locais da companhia, em contacto com grupos de fãs.

"Thanks for feedback and questions.
First to your questions Fernando. Concerning naming a LUG event, the rules also apply of course for non English languages and it is possible to name events in other languages without including the LEGO name. Examples are “Klodsfest” in Denmark and “1000Steineland” in Germany.
The LEGO name can be used in a tagline stating it is an event organized by e.g. a LUG. The reason for this is that we find it important to distinguish between an “official” event organized by TLG and an “unofficial” event organized by a LUG.
As stated, it is still possible for a LUG to turn an event into an “official” LEGO event with the LEGO name as part of the event name by working out an agreement with TLG. An example is LEGO Fan Welt which took place in Cologne, Germany last year. But this will give TLG influence on the event, which not all LUGs are interested in.
If the LUG is interested in using the LEGO name or logo on marketing materials, this is possible, but require a sponsorship agreement with TLG. This agreement will be less formal than if the LUG want to establish a partnership with TLG to organize an “official” LEGO event. Still, marketing materials using the LEGO name and/or logo will need to be approved by TLG.
Hope this answers your questions.
